By accessing, browsing, or using the website, as well as by making a booking, you fully and unconditionally accept the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking.

1. Purpose of the Platform and Nature of Services

The website samostaxiservice.gr is the official online booking and communication channel of the transport business operated by Mr. Marinakis Antonios. Unlike intermediary platforms, bookings made here concern the direct provision of passenger transport services (Taxi / Transfer Services) by the owner himself and/or legally authorized partner drivers, in accordance with Greek legislation regarding commercial public-use vehicles.

2. Booking Process

• Bookings are made through the dedicated form on the website or via direct communication.

• Creating a user account (registration) is not required.

• Users are required to provide accurate, complete, and true information (name, phone number, email, exact pickup location, date, time, and flight or boat number if required).

• The business reserves the right to cancel or reject a booking request if the provided details are incomplete or inaccurate.

3. Confirmation and Availability

• Every booking request submitted electronically is subject to final approval by the business based on availability.

• The booking is considered valid and finalized only after a written confirmation (Confirmation Email or message) has been sent to the customer.

• In rare cases of unavailability or force majeure (e.g., vehicle breakdown, extreme weather conditions), the business will arrange for your service through an authorized partner driver, or, if that is not possible, will proceed with an immediate and full refund of the amount paid within 3–5 business days.

4. Prices, Payments, and Receipts

• Prices listed or calculated on the website are final and include all legal taxes and tolls, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

• Full payment for the service is processed during the online booking procedure using the website’s available secure payment methods.

• For every completed journey, the legal receipt (Service Provision Receipt) for the total amount of the transport is issued and handed over to the passenger by the driver during or upon completion of the route.

5. Cancellations and Modifications

• Free Cancellation/Modification: Customers have the right to cancel or modify their booking at no extra cost up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time. In this case, 100% of the amount is refunded.

• Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting time are not eligible for a refund.

6. Responsibility and Obligations of Passengers

• Passengers are required to behave properly, respect the vehicle, and comply with safety regulations (e.g., mandatory use of seat belts).

• The driver reserves the right to refuse transport to passengers who are under the influence of alcohol or substances, or whose behavior compromises driving safety.

• The business is not responsible for any loss of items left behind in the vehicle, though every reasonable effort will be made to locate and return them to the owner.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the website samostaxiservice.gr (text, graphics, logos, photos, layout) is the intellectual property of the business and is protected by the relevant provisions of Greek and European law. Any copying or reproduction without written permission is prohibited.

8. Modification of Terms

The business reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time in order to align them with new services or legal updates. Modifications apply from the moment they are posted on this page.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Greek Law. For any dispute arising from the use of the website or the execution of transport services, the Courts of Samos are exclusively designated as competent.
