Welcome to samostaxiservice.gr, the online booking platform operated by the business under the trade name Golden Group. By accessing or using this website, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any booking.

1. Purpose of the Platform

The website samostaxiservice.gr operates as a booking intermediary between passengers (users of the platform) and independent professional taxi drivers. The Platform does not provide transportation services and does not employ drivers, but facilitates the connection and booking process between users and licensed drivers.

2. Booking Process

Bookings are made exclusively through the online form provided on the website.
No user account is required to submit a booking.
Users must provide accurate and complete information, including name, contact details, pickup location, and time.

The Platform reserves the right to reject any booking request that contains inaccurate or incomplete information.

3. Driver Assignment Process

Each booking request is automatically forwarded to approved partner drivers via email or other communication tools.
The trip is assigned to the first available driver who confirms acceptance.
Other drivers are notified that the trip has already been assigned.
Each driver maintains the right to accept or decline a booking request without penalty.
In the rare case that no driver accepts the booking request, the customer will be promptly informed by the Platform and a full refund will be issued within 3–5 business days.

4. Payments and Receipts

Full payment is made at the time of booking through the Platform.
The Platform retains a 15% service fee and forwards the remaining 85% to the driver after the trip is completed.
Customers receive:
- A Service Fee Receipt from the Platform (for the 15%)
- A Transport Receipt directly from the driver (for the 85%)

5. Cancellations and Modifications

Customers may cancel or modify their booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable.
In case of driver unavailability or force majeure, the Platform will either offer a replacement driver or provide a full refund. This also applies if no driver accepts the booking. In such a case, the reservation will be canceled and the full amount will be refunded.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Platform acts solely as a technological intermediary and is not liable for delays, cancellations, driver behavior, or incidents during the trip.
The driver bears full responsibility for providing transportation services in accordance with applicable laws and safety standards.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (texts, images, logos, layout, software) is the intellectual property of the business and is protected under Greek and European law.

8. Amendments to the Terms

The Platform reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of the website implies acceptance of any changes made.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Greek law. Any dispute arising out of or related to the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens, Greece.
